Rules for Elective Courses

Students can choose from a wide range of courses outside the MACIS curriculum. For these elective courses, browse the course catalogues of ETH and external page University of Zurich.

The courses must fulfill the following prerequisites:

at master level
in English
related to MACIS field of study
assessed performance (graded exam or assignment)
approved by MACIS Director of Studies

Elective Courses in German
Please note that all of the 22 ECTS for the elective requirement have to be completed in English. You may register for courses in German once you have completed the prerequisite of 22 ECTS.
